LockDown Browser for Chromebook

LockDown Browser for Chromebook is available for quizzes/exams delivered in D2L Brightspace.  This version of the LockDown Browser Chromebook extension also supports Respondus Monitor, an automated proctoring system. 

Installing LockDown Browser to your Chromebook is easy.

  • Log into the Chromebook and start Google Chrome.
  • Log into D2L Brightspace and navigate to the exam that requires LockDown Browser.
  • Select the link for downloading and installing LockDown Browser.
  • From the Chrome web store, select “Add to Chrome” to install the LockDown Browser Extension.
