The Civil Service Council seeks representatives to fill two-year terms from District II (Vice President for Business Affairs) beginning July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2028. All District II employees are eligible to run if they meet the following criteria: 1) permanent non-negotiated, 2) continuous non-union, 3) non-academic employee, and 4) not an off-campus contract appointment.
If you are interested, complete the nomination form linked below. The system will require you to sign in using your EIU network ID. If you have questions, contact Amy Morris (almorris3@eiu.edu or 217-581-7505). The deadline to submit nominations is May 1, 2026, and the election will be held on May 14, 2026. Winners will be notified on or around May 15, and the results will be posted publicly on the Council website and in the EIU Newsletter.
