Made me feel very welcome starting my new job and is always willing to help me out when needed. He is always in a good mood and is fun to be around daily!

I have worked at EIU since 2019 and encounter many wonderful people daily. One of the absolute nicest, kindest, happiest, sincere, caring, and professional people that always comes to mind is John Marr of Career Services. He is always such a pleasant person to talk to. Don't just take my word for it, I hear the same comments amongst the other staff and students that encounter him as well. Keep up the greatness John!

Shout out to Raju!! His incredible expertise brought our new request forms to life flawlessly. He’s not only brilliant but also a joy to work with—patient, thorough, and always willing to share his knowledge. We’re so grateful for the time, guidance, and follow-up he put into making this project a success.

Shout out to Chris for his quick response and helping hand! He’s always ready to step in when needed, bringing a smile every time. We truly appreciate his reliability, positive spirit, and willingness to help us out in a pinch.

Shout out to Christina for the incredible work she does at Textbook Rental! No matter how busy or chaotic things get—even when the books are overflowing—she handles it all with a calm, can-do attitude. Her dedication makes her a joy to work with, and we are so grateful for everything she does.

Congrats, Laura for achieving an elusive goal, and with the added challenge of adopting a new system and helping your campus constituents navigate it. Your efforts on behalf of students and your coworkers have been noticed and are appreciated. Way to go!

You can always count on Sam to do a great job, but she recently took up the charge on an issue I was having with a vendor and solved the problem! Thanks, Sam.

You regularly go above and beyond for our students! Thank you for advocating for our students even when there seems to be no way, for our students who are seeking a solution to what are often complex financial problems.

Thank you for making my adjustment to Human Services so positive. You have such a passion for making EIU the best it can be!

Tracy always helps me out when I am in a lurch, whether it is entering a random PO or manually entering 100 action plans into Microsoft Planner. Tracy, you are the best!

Jeff has been so helpful. I have many items in my office that have been moved around or taken out altogether. I appreciate all the help. Thank you, Jeff.

Jarrod is always willing to assist with my many ideas and requests, from rearranging items to bringing what I need for my office. I appreciate your consistent support and kindness.

A huge shout out to Alexis Jones for her amazing work as interim FDIC Director. Alexis has done an amazing job in the last eight months, especially during the summer transition. Her dependability, positive attitude, and sense of humor will be greatly missed.

Thank you so much for all you do for us here in TLF - Buzzard Hall, Lowell. We certainly have enjoyed having you work for our department and 2nd Floor, Buzzard Hall. While we hope you will stay and work for us in the Fall, if that does not work out, we know they will love and appreciate all your hard work wherever you go. You have been such a valuable member of the Counseling and Higher Education Department as well as the College of Education, that is hard to visualize that department without you. I had a very last minute need for some laptops and Christie really helped me out of a bind. With a very quick turnaround and cheerful service, Christie helped me out of this jam!

Sarah you are that girl! I was able to work with her with trying to help an incoming student. And when I tell you Sarah was doing the best she could to assist our student in getting as much support as she could I am so happy to work someone like her! She def puts in work in making sure our students get as much support as they can! I see you Sarah! :)
