Subject: 8th Annual EIUnity Diversity Conference - Program Proposals and Hold the Date

<p>Dear EIU Students, Faculty, and Staff:</p><p>Minority Affairs and the Office of Student Affairs will host the 8th Annual EIUnity Diversity Conference on Friday, February 5, 2016 in the Martin Luther King Jr. University Union.&nbsp; The conference is designed to raise diversity awareness and advocacy across our campus.&nbsp; Additional conference details will be shared in early January 2016.</p><p>We would love for you to consider presenting at the conference. Some of the areas we are looking at targeting this year are race/culture, class, and gender issues.&nbsp; If you believe that your presentation would benefit the Eastern/Charleston community you can submit a proposal on-line by December 11th by following the link http://www.eiu.edu/minoraff/machform/view.php?id=19 to the registration form.</p><p>Sincerely,</p><p>Mona Y.
