Overview

The Talent Development minor prepares students to develop the knowledge, skills, and performance of others within organizations. Students interested in leadership, training, coaching, mentoring, and organizational improvement will gain valuable skills in communication, facilitation, instructional design, and change management. Coursework includes teaching and training, web-based instruction, coaching and mentoring, facilitating learning, and organizational change strategies. Offered through EIU's Organizational Development program, this minor complements a variety of majors and helps students prepare for careers in training, human resources, leadership development, and organizational learning.
