Su Amigo y Su Maestro

'Amigos and Friends' volunteers play a dual role in the lives of the participants with whom they work.

When EIU students volunteer to take part in Amigos and Friends, a Newman Catholic Center program designed to help strengthen the language skills of local non-native speakers, they're building a connection to that individual -- not only as a teacher, but also as a friend.
