Business Administration (B.S.B)

Total Semester Hours Required for the Degree: 120 semester hours

Major

Business Administration develops the fundamental body of knowledge and analytical tools common to all management positions through study in management, marketing, accounting, information systems, behavioral sciences, economics, and quantitative approaches to decision making. Students may choose to complete this degree entirely online or in-person.

The BSB in Business Administration comprises:

43 semester hours in general education
38 semester hours in the business core
24 semester hours in major courses; and
15 semester hours in electives

Major Courses (24 Semester Hours)

One upper-division course from each of the following disciplines:

Accounting (ACC)
Business Analytics and Information Systems (BAIS)
Finance (FIN)
Management (MGT)
Marketing (MAR)
Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSC)

Two upper-division courses (six semester hours) selected from the following:

Accounting (ACC) courses
BUS 4000 - Business Ethics
Business Analytics and Information Systems (BAIS) courses
Entrepreneurship (ENT) courses
Finance (FIN) courses
Management (MGT) courses
Marketing (MAR) courses
Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSC) courses

Students without significant relevant work experience are encouraged to complete an internship.
