Successful completion of two courses in a single foreign language is a graduation requirement; 2 years in foreign language in high school with a "C" or better each semester may be substituted for requirement.
Departmental Approval to Student Teach must be granted prior to Student Teaching.
The State of Illinois requires that the Special Education LBS I Test and聽the Early Childhood Special Education Test be passed prior to commencement of student teaching.
Students must pass the edTPA (teacher performance assessment)聽before they can receive their teaching license from Illinois or any other state. Students will make their edTPA submission during student teaching.
