INTRODUCTION

Dr. Aimee Janssen-Robinson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health and Nutrition at 海角社区. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health Education from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, both from Indiana State University. She has held Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) certification since 2006 and is also a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor.

Dr. Janssen-Robinson brings extensive experience in public health education, student wellness, sexual violence prevention and response, and higher education leadership. Her research interests include student success, sexual violence prevention and response, women's development and health, eating disorders and body image, and well-being in academic environments.

She has a strong commitment to professional engagement through active leadership in the American College Health Association — including serving as Communications Chair for the Mid-American College Health Association — and the Illinois Public Health Association, where she currently serves on the Executive Council. She has presented her work at numerous regional and national conferences and has secured grant funding in support of student mental health, public health education, and violence prevention initiatives. Furthermore, she serves as a dedicated 4-H leader in Marshall, IL.
